"Been anywhere nice on your holidays?" OH STOP!

So many people dread small talk during their massage—and rightly so. You’re here to unwind, not recreate a hairdresser’s banter!
At Jonny Massage, I’ll always start with an essential consultation (especially for new clients) to ensure your safety and tailor the experience. Here’s why it matters:
• Pregnancy? I legally can’t massage you in your first trimester.
• Deep vein thrombosis (DVT)? Certain areas must be avoided to prevent serious risks.
• Osteoporosis or past fractures? Pressure needs adjusting (or avoiding altogether)
.• Eczema flare-up? Best to steer clear of affected areas.
• IBS, constipation, or reflux? A targeted abdominal massage could work wonders.
• Asthma or bronchial issues? Chest massage might help.
The list isn’t exhaustive, but 10 minutes of chat upfront means the rest of your session can be blissfully silent — bar the occasional pressure check. Most clients are so relaxed, they’re reluctant to leave!
Your massage, your rules. Prefer quiet? Perfect. Fancy a natter? That’s fine too.
