Holistic Massage vs. Chiropractic Care: An Hour’s Relaxation or a Quick Fix?

Both holistic massage and chiropractic care aim to ease pain and improve wellbeing—but their approaches couldn’t be more different. Having just paid £50 for a chiropractic session that lasted under 10 minutes, it got me thinking about the contrasts.
Chiropractic adjustments focus on spinal alignment and joint manipulation (yes, the "cracking"!). While effective for some, it’s often a quick, targeted intervention. Holistic massage, on the other hand, offers a slower, immersive experience: 60 minutes of relaxation that works on muscles, fascia, and the mind.
Why "holistic"? Because it treats the whole being—releasing physical tension while calming the nervous system. The benefits can be similar (pain relief, improved mobility), but the journey is entirely different. No sudden adjustments—just gradual, mindful unwinding.
So, which resonates with you? A rapid structural fix or a restorative, full-body reset? If you’re curious about the power of holistic massage, I’d love to chat.
